As the introduction to the course we had a discussion in which we were provided with a key overview of the course. The typical do's and don'ts along with important pieces of information (especially deadlines) were provided.
Once divided into groups we split off for independent work within our teams. We set up our blog pages and then began the content of the course.
Our group decision was that our chosen genre will be THRILLER. Mainly because at this early stage choosing a broader genre means that as we research and progress through the course we will narrow it down. Also, the subgenres that come off the genre of thriller, means that we will have a chance to explore a much wider spectrum.
